On, then Off, and now back ON!

What a busy spring!

I swear I have had something pressing to do every week/weekend since the middle of March when my Moms of Multiples club had its spring sale. Since then it's been parties, MOM convention (a whole weekend away!), Easter, baby shower for BFF, concerts, etc.

It's so easy for me to use those busy times as excuses why I eat bad and stop exercising. And so I'm up 3.some pounds. SIGHHHHHHH.

But, I have a plan to get back on track.

First, I must exercise. I cannot lose weight if I don't exercise. My latest excuse not to exercise was that the weather was FINALLY nice, so I wanted my kids to play outside, rather than go to the Y and play inside. But you know what? When they play outside, I sometimes play with them, but I also sometimes sit in the lawn chair and relax while they play. Not good. So, my friend Andrea and I have challenged each other to get up early just ONE day a week to exercise.

Today was our day. But it rained. So I stayed in bed. BUT - I went to the Y and ran 4 miles! I will try again at the early thing tomorrow. I'm not so great at getting up early, so we'll see. The fallback is always the Y.

I also must track. I like MFP. I don't know why I fell off the wagon on tracking! It just have to do it! My first small goal is to track breakfast, lunch & my afternoon snack. Dinner for some reason is hard for me to track. Once I master my first goal, I can add my dinner back in there. It's always been hard for me to track dinner. Probably because it's busy with the kids and I make recipes which are hard for me to figure out one serving. Excuses, excuses!!

So, I'm back ON. Are you with me??? I need some support! :)
